57% polling reported in Bihar 4th Phase Assembly Elections

In Bihar, polling for the fourth phase passed off peacefully barring sporadic incidents. 57.59 percent voting was registered during today’s poll. Maximum 59.96 voting was recoded in East Champaran. West Champaran 59.17 percent, Sheohar 56.05, Sitamarhi 56.09, Muzaffarpur 56.83, Gopalganj 58.90 and Siwan 54.31 percent voting has been registered.

Additional Chief Electoral officer R Lakshmanan said a report has been sought from Sheohar DM regarding clash between police and voters at booth number 50 of the district. Fifth and final phase phase of polling will be on November 05 and counting of votes will be on November 08.
