‘Financing for Sustainable Agriculture’

It gives me great pleasure to invite you for an interaction with Dr Rakesh Gupta, General Manager, Priority Sector and Lead Bank Division, Punjab National Bank. Dr Gupta heads the nation-wide agri-business unit for the PNB. He will deliver the Keynote Address at the roundtable, ‘Financing for Sustainable Agriculture’, at 6.00 pm on January 10 at the Deck Suite, 5th Floor, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
 
As you are aware, we have already hosted a series of two conferences and two roundtables on ‘Rebuilding Uttarakhand.’ This roundtable is limited to key stakeholders, including the government, corporate and financial institutions, NGOs and people with interest in the sustainable development of Uttarakhand.
 
Union Water Resources Minister Shri Harish Rawat was the Chief Guest at the first conference, while Union Textiles Minister Shri KS Rao was the Chief Guest at the second conference. Shri SK Muttoo, IAS, Chief Investment Commissioner, Uttarakhand, and renowned agricultural scientist Prof. MS Swaminathan addressed the first and second roundtables respectively.
