Parallel events/seminars are planned at the Tata

The
Seed Festival is a joint initiative of groups from Chhattisgarh,
Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Pondicherry and
Uttarakhand,
working for in situ conservation and
promotion of seed diversity and related knowledge – our collective
bio-cultural heritage – evolved,
preserved and shared by the indigenous people and farming communities of
India. This priceless heritage is now under threat of being lost
forever. The support of all is greatly needed to preserve it!
A
brochure, a flyer (programme of events) and a poster of the Seed Festival are attached. (Also attached is a concise leaflet to promote awareness on the threat from GM Crops and the new BRA of India Bill.)
Please visit with friends and family, participate and pass on this
invitation (and attachments) to any others who may be interested,
including any media contacts that you may have.
If
you can volunteer your assistance,
please let us know the date/s and time you can be present. Any help to
meet/share/minimise the costs would also be welcome. (Please contact any
