Pankaj Bora, elected to the Upper House from Assam as a Congress candidate, took oath in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday.
Bora, who was press adviser to Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, won the recent by-poll necessitated due to the death of Congress member Silvius Condopan

It is humbly informed that the Kheti Virasat Mission in its Endeavour of making Punjab poison free, is going to organize Annual Nanak Kheti – Natural Farming Workshop at Bhai Bhagtu Institute for Higher Education, at village: Ramgarh-Bhagtuana, Near JAITU [Faridkot] from 24^th to 27^th December2011. 

Agriculture experts from different part of India are going to join this workshop for training the farmers in Natural Farming. All arrangements shall be done for the stay and food for the joining farmers. The workshop shall be inaugurated on 6-00 PM on 24^th December2011. All are requested to spare the time set their schedules so as to reach in the workshop along with a Copy & Pen. This is very important for the struggle of making the Punjab Poison free- Disease free-Debt free and Distress Free State.

Sr Sukhdev Singh Bhopal [Senior  leader Kudrati Manav Kendrit Lok Lehar] shall inaugurate the workshop.
