Increased purse of Rs 10 mn; up from Rs 8 mn last year Star-studded line-up includes Chiragh Kumar (Rolex Rankings leader & winner of BILT Open 2011), Jyoti Randhawa and Gaganjeet Bhullar

Mumbai, December 6th, 2011: Crompton Greaves Ltd., part of the US$ 4 bn Avantha Group, and Aircel-Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) today announced the schedule for Crompton Greaves Open 2011. The CG Open will be played at Bombay Presidency Golf Club, Mumbai, from 7th-10th December. The Pro-Am will be played on 11th December. CG is very proud to sponsor an event of this stature and support the development of this highly competitive sport within India.

The star-studded field features some of India's top professionals, including Chiragh Kumar, Jyoti Randhawa and Gaganjeet Bhullar. Incidentally, Chiragh Kumar is the current Rolex Rankings leader and recently won the BILT Open 2011, hosted by another Avantha Group company.
