Sharmila Nicollet finishes tied 17 at the Turkish Airlines Ladies Open

New Delhi, 13th May 2013: Hero MotoCorp sponsored Indian golfer Sharmila Nicollet played brilliantly on the final day of the Turkish Airlines Ladies Open to finish at tied 17 in Antalya, yesterday. The Bangalore based golfer had a final day score of one under 72 with four birdies to secure the tied 17 position with a cumulative score of five over 297 at the end of the final round. The € 250, 000 prize money event was held at the National golf Club in the resort of Belek, Antalya and was played from the 9th – 12th of May 2013.
Sharmila played brilliantly on the final day to rise from the 30th position to tied 17 at the close of the final days play. Sharmila returned with earnings of € 3158.33 at the close of the event. The tournament had a playing field of more than 120 professional ladies golfers from all across the world.
