JD(U)
on Saturday announced its first list of 15 candidates for Bihar and
four other states fielding a former bureaucrat K P Ramaiah from Sasaram
against Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar.

|
Sasaram is a reserved seat from where BJP has fielded Sanjay Paswan. With Ramaih, a former IAS officer having served in the state in various capacities joining the fray, the contest in Sasaram has become triangular. Bihar Speaker Udai Narayan Chowdhary has been fielded from the reserved seat of Jamui, where LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan's son Chirag Paswan is contesting. Sudhanshu Shekhar Bhaskar is the RJD candidate here. While LJP has alliance with BJP, RJD is in alliance with Congress in Bihar. The party fielded its Jharkhand unit chief Jaleshwar Mahato from Giridih and Mahesh Yadav from Chatra in Jharkhand. It also declared candidates for four seats in Narendra Modi-ruled Gujarat and one each in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. The ruling party in Bihar, which is contesting on 38 of the 40 Parliamentary seats in the state, has decided to leave Begusarai for alliance partner CPI, which has been given two seats including Banka. Among six Lok Saba seats of Bihar for which the party has declared candidates, sitting MP Mabhali Singh has been re-nominated from Karakat Lok Sabha seat. Singh is the only sitting MP among the candidates declared so far. The party declared the candidature of Baagi Kumar Verma from Aurangabad, where its sitting MP Sushil Kumar is now contesting on BJP ticket while Congress has fielded former MP Nikhil Kumar, who had quit as Kerala Governor recently to fight the Lok Sabha polls. Kaushal Yadav has been fielded from Nawada. Sasaram, Karakat, Aurangabad, Gaya, Nawada and Jamui constituencies will go for polls on April 10. Announcing the decisions, party President Sharad Yadav also gave clear indications that he will stick to his seat Madhepura. |

Santosh Bhartiya clears all the accusations made on him by Anna Hazare
15032014
New Delhi, 15th March 2014: The entire country went into a shock recently after their National Hero Anna Hazare backed out of a much publicized rally which was held at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi. This rally was organized for people to know more about Anna Hazare’s 17 point agenda which is in the interest of our country, India. However, unfortunately Anna Hazare was misguided by a few vested parties which resulted in Anna ji dropping out from the rally. Now, Anna Hazare has been heard accusing veteran journalist Santosh Bhartiya for not gathering the crowd in huge numbers for the rally held on 12th March, 2014. It is unfortunate to know that the social activist believes that a former journalist of Santosh Bhartiya’s stature should run around gathering crowds for his rally.
A press conference was held at Constitutional Club, New Delhi where Santosh Bharitya clarified his stand about Anna Hazare’s accusations and made it very clear that it doesn’t come under his responsibility to gather crowds. Infact, the crowd would gather only due to Anna Hazare’s charisma. It also surprised Santosh Bhartiya on why the crowd didn’t gather as Anna Hazare’s popularity is unmatchable. Nonetheless, Santosh Bhartiya strongly believes that Anna Hazare should have addressed the crowd who had gathered at Ramlila Maidan. He is not Asaram Bapu who believes in speaking only to a huge gathering. He shouldn’t have behaved like him as Anna Hazare is a revolutionary man. The entire disappearing act has disappointed not only the gathered crowd and the media but also the entire nation who were eagerly waiting to hear Anna Hazare’s views & thoughts.
Also, after the rally was held Anna Hazare met a few NGOs on 13th & 14th March, 2014 and is planning another political front.
As a sincere journalist and a responsible citizen of India, Santosh Bhartiya has played a huge role in bringing two honest personalities like All India Trinamool Congress Chairperson Mamata Banerjee & Social Activist Anna Hazare on the same platform for the betterment of the country. Santosh Bharitya’s involvement in getting these two together wasn’t liked by many parties and his closeness to Anna Hazare also created a lot of uneasiness. Santosh Bhartiya expressed his displeasure about Anna misunderstanding him and also declared confidently that all those who benefit from this entire incident will be exposed soon.
Santosh Bhartiya also pointed out that there’s an international conspiracy behind Anna Hazare’s U-Turn by a few foreign funded NGOs. These NGOs are also supported by the Government ruled parties, hence benefitting these political parties. Infact, there are several political parties who were unhappy about Anna Hazare and Mamata Banerjee’s association as they are pro-people and are a serious threat to the corporate sector. The very fact that these two powerful people coming were together had become a sore to the eyes of many political and corporate communities.
The misunderstanding between Anna Hazare and Mamata Banerjee has been created so that their philosophy of anti-capitalist gets destroyed. Santosh Bhartiya at the press conference urged Anna Hazare to understand this and not get distracted by people who have malicious intent. A fact sheet was distributed to the media which describes the entire event sequence and how Santosh Bhartiya has been instrumental in Anna Hazare’s nation-wide campaigns. This sheet will also be sent to Anna Hazare with the hope that he realizes his mistake and not get manipulated by those who have evil thoughts for our nation. With this entire incident, people who trusted Anna Hazare are feeling betrayed and believing that the ‘Great Anna has done Great Injustice’.
