Media, FOCUS 2012 being organized by chamber of repute and  newspapers editors society sends  our heartiest congratulation from the media fraternity.;On questioning the media persons about the various chambers  human touch to the media, the remarks shed and prove discouraging. We have two types of media in demand and media in waiting,MSME media of later  are looking for an opportunity to grow but avenues are rare.

Entertainment which is ruled by some rot and ill gotten money from various other fast buck business which in present era has becomes upside down in its fantasy and dreams which has little and no-relevance with present day real life running parallel to our best of education system with conservative creed.  Many such chamber of commerce it is pitiable that these chambers have the poorest of the staff at the registered counters and their arrogance reminds of their feudal character which is so perennial in our so called elite bunch of meteorites. The owners,Directors and company founding fathers need to pay attention to these frantic people hovering around the gates with their whims and fancies.

Český Krumlov awarded “tourism Oscar”
Prague, May 2012  The South Bohemian town of Český Krumlov has received The Golden Apple, a prestigious award which is the tourism equivalent of the film industry Oscars. The UNESCO-listed town has joined the highly-regarded list of the most significant tourism destinations in the world. The Golden Apple has been awarded annually for more than 40 years by the World Federation of Travel Journalists & Writers (FIJET). The only other Czech city that has achieved the accolade is Brno which received the award in 2004.
Český Krumlov has been recognised thanks to its remarkable number of important cultural and historic sights which attract great interest from both Czech and international visitors. The decision was influenced by the fact that Český Krumlov doesn´t just live on its past but has a rich and highly-valued contemporary cultural and social life. The events taking place in Český Krumlov are frequented by well-known personalities from both the Czech and the international cultural scene. For example the star of last year’s International Music Festival Český Krumlov was the leading opera singer Plácido Domingo. This year Český Krumlov will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its being named on the UNESCO list of World Cultural Heritage sites, which was also a factor in it winning this latest award.
Nicknamed “The Pearl of South Bohemia” Český Krumlov is visited by more than 1 million tourists every year, 60% of which are visitors from all over the world. Even though the Golden Apple Award does not come with a financial benefit, it is clear that the prestigious accolade will give a major boost to the

Prague boasts two new Michelin star restaurants

Prague, May 2012 Come to Prague to enjoy some of its exquisite gastronomy. The most recent edition of the Michelin Main Cities Guide has awarded two restaurants in the Czech capital a Michelin star each. This is the first time ever that Czech chefs have secured this prestigious award. Prague has also increased the number of BiB Gourmand restaurants, a label signifying good quality food for reasonable prices.

The Michelin star has been awarded to the Alcron Restaurant lead by Chef Roman Paulus and restaurant La Degustation Bohême Bourgeoise headed by Chef Oldrich Sahajdak. Both restaurants offer tasting menus. Alcron is famous for its fish and seafood specialities and restaurant La Degustation Bohême Bourgeoise introduces traditional Czech cuisine using recipes from the late 19th century.

Gourmets and lovers of fine dining will appreciate that the number of top quality restaurants in Prague is constantly growing. Two Prague restaurants Sansho and Monastery have recently acquired the label of BiB Gourmand. They will complement restaurants SaSaZu, Le Terroir, Aromi and Divinis which managed to retain the status awarded to them last year.
