Sinopsis: El café-teatro científico
necesita de público curioso, con ganas de pasar un buen rato en compañía
de un par de personajes que quieren contarles, nada más y nada menos,
las estrategias que utiliza el cerebro para crear la realidad. En torno a
una taza de café y a modo de diálogo teatral e improvisación con el
público, el espectáculo busca divertir y enganchar al público para, a
partir de ahí, explicar conceptos científicos como la organización del
cerebro, qué pasa en el proceso de envejecimiento, la memoria, el sueño,
o qué son los "cacharros" que interactúan con el cerebro
(hombres-robot).
Biografías:
Casto Rivadulla es profesor de fisiología y miembro
del grupo NEUROcom en la universidade de A Coruña. Interesado en
entender cómo funciona la parte del cerebro dedicada al sistema visual.
Las líneas de investigación en las que participa van desde el efecto de
los cannabinoides en la respuesta de las neuronas, hasta los mecanismos
neuronales que se ponen en marcha para decirnos que lo que buscábamos
está "allí", o como se regula el flujo de sangre en el cerebro en
función de la actividad. Con resultados publicados en algunas de las
mejores revistas científicas como Nature o Journal of Neuroscience.
Vicente Mohedano, Actor y director de escena
gallego atesora una larga experiencia en el cine, teatro y televisión
gallega y español, habiendo trabajado en el apartado cinematográfico con
Antonio Giménez Rico en 'Hotel Danubio', o con Juan Pinzás en 'Era otra
vez'. |

Synopsis: The scientist coffe-theatre needs
acurious audience, wanting to have a good time in the company of a
couple of figures who want to tell you, nothing more and nothing less,
that the strategies that the brain uses to create reality. Around a cup
of coffee and as a theatrical dialogue and improvisation with the
audience, the show seeks to entertain and engage the public, from there,
to explain scientific concepts as the organization of the brain; what
happens in the aging process, the memory, the sleep, or what are the
"gadgets" that interact with the brain (man-robot).
Biographies:
Rivadulla Casto is a professor of physiology and a
member of the universidade NEUROcom, La Coruna. Interested in
understanding how the brain devoted to the visual system. The research
areas in which he participates rang from the effect of cannabinoids in
the response of neurons to the neural mechanisms that are in place to
tell us that what we wanted is "there", or as how the blood flow in the
brain is regulated depending on the brain activity. With results
published in some of the best scientific journals like Nature or Journal
of Neuroscience.
Vicente Mohedano, Galician actor and stage director
has a long experience in film, theater and Galician and Spanish
television, having worked in the film section with Antonio Giménez Rico
in 'Hotel Danube', or John Pinzás in 'It was again'. |
