DHARNA AND PRESS CONFERENCE

100 farmers both men and women from Meo
community coming from the villages of Rojka Meo, Kedli Kankar, Rewasan,
Mehrola, Kenwersika, Bedelaki, Dhirduka, Rupaheri and Behadri of block Nuh ,
Mewat would join Anhad at a Dharna and a press Conference at the Haryana
Bhawan, Copernicus Marg, New Delhi at 3pm on Feb 3, 2012.
Dharna will continue till 5pm.
Dharna is to protest the discrimination
in the payment of compensation to the Mewati villagers. Their entire
agricultural land has been taken away and the compensation provided is Rs 16
lakhs per hectare where as the land acquired from adjoining non-Meo villages
has got compensation of 45 and even 55 lakhs per hectare.
