photo
When Indian Capital reels under sultry hot weather, growing population, in coming and out going population makes Delhi  traffic in unplanned colonies complete mess with people walking all over the places leaving little space for motors and cars to to just move in the lowest possible speed that of Peddal Rickshaw. Thus  whenever traffic improvement is planned, the first target is pedal rickshaw  they are abused and thrown out on one pretext of the other.
From the last four years the Power Rickshaw has turned around the urban traffic which are mostly found in old colonies, Resettlement colonies and bigger colonies of the capital for this new urban transport which is an up-gradation of peddle rickshaw with battery operated motor software which rotates the main assembly of rickshaw thus giving the rickshaw speed of 20- 30 KM thus boon for commuters women, men ,young, old, weak, to travel for short distance of one to  four Km  very economically and with rapid pace.
A technology has improved and provided faster pace to the urban space. Walkers and pedestrians are put on faster wheels which has also enlivened the car drivers enough speed to the utility of the fuel and ease of driving.
Most of people which are encompassed in this profession of running both Peddal and Power rickshaws are men  from the eastern and northern states of Bihar, UP, Jharkhand. The youngsters are found taking up this drive and those driving pedal rickshaw are earning Rs 600 per day and those in Power Rickshaw earn Rs 900 per day, paying daily the rent of vehicle is Rs 200 to 400 for the former and later respectively. With unemployment on rise across India these young  and enterprising men are sending to their parents or family in their villages approximately rs 4K to 5K as per the requirement through post office or banks.

GUJARAT 50% ENERGY GROWTH, 160% CAPACITY GROWTH IN 9 YRS

Gujarat 50% Energy Growth, 160% Capacity Growth in 9 Yrs
April04, 2017 (C) Ravinder Singh progressindia2015@gmail.com
It is important that Piyush Goyal tell facts to the nation than false Political Comments .
In ET news at the end I was stunned to see only except for NTPC and GSEC rest of the beneficiaries of Subsidized LNG were Private Companies.
NTPC, Ratnagiri Gas & Power, Torrent Power, GVK Industries, Lanco Kondapalli, GMR Energy, Gujarat State Electricity Corp, and CLP India.’
Study of Power Sector progress in Gujarat revealed –
1.  To meet 50% growth in Electricity required by Gujarat – state installed 160% new Generation Capacity.
2.  Unrestricted demand in 2007-08 was 12,575 MW, energy catered was 66,569 MU and peak demand in FY2017 is 14,724 MW only and Energy supplied is 94,365 BU. [Generation minus EHT Losses]
Gujarat – Demand Growth 17% in 9 Years
3.  What is even more startling is that Unrestricted Demand of 12,575 MW in 2007-08 was met in 2012-13 after 5 years to current peak of 14,724 MW.
4.  Piyush Goyal through Power Grid invested Heavily in Gujarat to let Private Players sell their Surplus Power to any part of the country.
5.  When April2008 Peak Demand was well over 12,000 MW power supplied was just 8000 MW. [Chart Clipped next page.]
6.  Though Piyush Goyal has withdrawn the Subsidy Scheme to mostly Private Players of Gujarat & Maharashtra – about 18 Cr LPG consumers pay more than double cost of Imported LPG cost.
7.  India is Importing LPG for sale to Poor Families and the Gas Pipeline shall originate in Gujarat. Why not East Coast?
Thermal Power Plants that Operated at 85%
in 2008 now Operate at 53% Load Factor.

Reports didn’t provide details of Capital Investment in Gujarat by Private and PSU companies.

GOYAL FALSE CLAIMS IN LS – RS.12-30 LAKH CR LOSSES

Goyal False Claims in LS – Rs.12-30 Lakh Cr Losses
April04, 2017 (C) Ravinder Singh progressindia2015@gmail.com

It is great Tamasha in Lok Sabha when Piyush Goyal present Power Minister and former Power Minister clashed over FALSE CLAIMS of Goyal that India is Power Surplus and Planting FAKE Stories of RAPID Electrification and Energizing Homes of Poor when 2016-17 Power Generation Growth is barely 4.7% or just 2.7% in per capita terms.
Goyal’s 40,000 Solar Parks, Rs.8,00,000 Cr Economic Loss
Goyal is Lunatic because Instead of Minimizing T&D losses, Energy Efficiency, Rooftop Solar and New Generation in Power Deficit States or region,
Ø He supported Long Distance Transmission of Power from Kutchh to UP/NE, Thermal Generation based on Imported Coal, Solar Parks in Desert or Power Surplus regions.
Ø Rooftop SolarPV is Rs.11 Cr Capital Cost Advantage plus Rs.9 Cr/MW Fuel Saving. [Rs.1 Cr/MW Capital Cost, Rs.6 Cr/MW T&D Cost, Rs.2 Cr/MW Interest Cost, Rs.2 Cr/MW Land Cost & Fuel Cost saving Rs.9 Cr/MW.] Just sanctioned 40,000 MW Solar Parks are Rs.8,00,000 Cr Economic Loss to India plus Environment Loss.

Ø 60,000 MW of Solar Parks out of 175,000 MW Renewables is Rs.12 lakh cr Economic Loss to India – Total losses due to Politics Driven Policies, Poor Quality Service Shall cost India Rs.30,00,000 Cr Lifetime losses.

Ø When Private Solar Parks Tariff is Rs.8.77/U currently, Coupled With T&D Losses – Losses to India May Even Double Than Given Figures.

Generation Growth Just 2.7% Per Capita – Pathetic Show

What is even more Pathetic is that Power Generation Growth in Northern Region was barely 2.38%, Western Region 3.62% just marginally above population growth rate. Southern, Eastern & NE Regions recorded 6.7%, 7.33% and 18.77% Generation growth.

Haryana recorded (-)15.09% generation growth and 36.79% PLF. Punjab recorded 13.51% generation growth, Rajasthan another BJP state recorded (-)4.04% generation growth. UP recorded 7.91% generation growth. Chhatisgarh recorded 18.05%, but Gujarat (-) 4.86% generation growth, MP the giant just 2.98% generation growth, Maharashtra was pathetic just 0.71% or NEGATIVE Per Capita Generation. AP 12.05% was excellent, Karnataka (-) 8.04%, TN 10.39% and Telengana was blazing 17.68% in generation growth.
> UP PRODUCED 5.6 BU/GW CAPACITY, GUJARAT 3.3 BU/GW.

UP Generation 120 BU Capacity 21,311 MW, Gujarat 99.8 BU – 30,330 MW

DELHI-KOLKATA TRAIN ROUTE HIGHEST ON MOBILE CONNECTIVITY

Delhi-Kolkata train route highest on mobile connectivity, Airtel widest coverage, says RailYatri
Latest RailYatri app lets you check network connectivity on any train route
4th April,2017- India: On a long train journey, the mobile phone invariably becomes the biggest entertainment and knowledge source for passengers. However, one is never sure what to expect in terms of mobile network connectivity along the train route.
The latest RailYatri app allows you to quickly find that out!
The new version that was recently launched displays the mobile network coverage for any train. So, travelers can check & compare the mobile connectivity across different routes. This comes a long way in solving uncertainties and staying connected with families as one would know where the mobile connectivity is better and where they might hit a low connectivity patch. To check the network coverage, just open the timetable of any train on the app and a link on the bottom of the screen will map the route along with the coverage details.
An Indian on an average uses 4-5 apps during long train journeys. Internet connectivity along the rail routes has thus become important to ensure pleasant experience for today’s travelers. With the Network Coverage feature, passengers now know what to expect along their train route. Armed with this information, they can make their calls or take decisions like downloading a movie or book for later consumption,” comments Manish Rathi, CEO and co-founder, RailYatri.in
Among the major connection between metros Delhi – Howrah (Kolkata) route scores the highest at 88% network coverage through the route. Compare this with Mumbai-Bangalore with 58% coverage.
“While stations are getting high speed WiFi connection, the RailYatri data showed fluctuating mobile connectivity on long train routes. While at some routes the network connectivity ranges as high as 70-88%, at other places they could go as low as 20%, depending on the network providers available on that route. The RailYatri data also captures the coverage by individual provider between stations. This awareness is definitely empowering the train traveller to make right choices at the right time,” feels Mr Rathi.
