Five-hundred Sikh pilgrims arrive in Pakistan

Five-hundred Sikh pilgrims have arrived in Pakistan to attend the 408th death anniversary of the fifth Sikh Guru, Arjan Dev Ji.
The pilgrims were given a warm welcome at the Wagah border from where they will travel to the Gurdwara Nankana Sahib, Punja Sahib and finally Derah Sahib where they will participate in the main event for the anniversary.
The district administration has provided fool-proof security including walk-through gates, CCTV cameras and has issued special passes to law enforcers to insure no untoward incident takes place.The pilgrims will remain in Pakistan till the 18th of June.
