Citizens’ Review of One year of NDA Government.

Dear Media friends,

We, at Wada Na Todo Abhiyan, facilitated Citizens’ Review of the one year of the NDA Government in collaboration with our partners. We will bring report cards on different slogans / promises made in the slogans and reality like Sabha Ka Saath Sabka Vikas, smart cities, Black Money, Jan Dhan YojanaBeti Bachao Beti Padao, Swacch Bharat Abhiyan and other . We will also critically see the functioning of different institutions of the government, Transparency and accountability, land and environment and others.
                                  
Wada Na Todo Abhiyan is a national campaign working on issues relating to governance and accountability. It has about 4000 CSO partners throughout the country. To incorporate the voices and the opinion of the Citizens, specially the marginalised like Dalits, Tribals, Women, Farmers and other WNTA have facilitated grass root level consultation in nearly 100 districts of 15 states.

We will release the Citizens’ report in a large gathering of citizens across the country and some prominent political persons and experts.

The event will be held at Dy Chairman hall of Constitution Club of India, behind Reserve Bank of India, New Delhi-100011 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on May 24, 2015.
