Ankur Baliyan’s six wicket haul Helps Sports Campus College, Lucknow Beat Salwan Boys Senior Sec. School, Delhi 

Mumbai, 19th April 2014: Ankur’s superb bowling helped Sports Campus College, Lucknow beat Salwan Senior Sec. School, Delhi by 33 runs in a Semi-Final match of the Coca-Cola Cricket Cup U-16 Inter-State tournament, played at HPCL ground.
Sports Campus College won the toss and opted to bat first. Vivek Anand and Mohsin Ali strengthened team's position with their spectacular 90 and 68 runs knocks and took the score to 222 for five wickets. For Delhi school, Bharat Shankar (2/39) and Mukulit Bhatt (1/16) were the top wicket-pickers.

In reply, Salwan Boys Senior Sec. School, Delhi was bowled-out at 189 runs in 37.4 overs. Ankur’s lethal bowling and his six-wicket haul helped Sport Campus College to bowled-out the opponents. Prashant Srivastava and Vijay Yadav claimed a wicket each. 

For Salwan Boys, Mukulit Bhatt and Saurav Dagar showed some resistance but rest of the batsmen failed to build partnership.

Mohsin Ali was awarded Man of the Match..  

On 20th April 2014, Al. Barkat Malik M. I. English School, Mumbai will play the final against Sports College, Lucknow,UP, at HPCL ground, Mumbai. The match will start from 9.00 am onwards and prize distribution at 3.00 pm onwards. 

In another match, Al. Barkat Malik M. I.. English School, Mumbai won the semi-final match by six wickets against Kiddy’s Corner Higher Secondary School, Gwalior.
