It is a great pleasure for me to invite you (on behalf of BusinessWorld, Thinkers50 (India), Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth and Eruditus) to an exclusive evening of thought leadership, discussion, and networking with world-renowned CEO coach Marshall Goldsmith on January 17, 2014 at the Four Seasons, Mumbai.

Marshall Goldsmith as you know is Adjunct Professor of Business Administration at the Tuck School. He is a world authority in helping leaders achieve positive, measurable changes in behavior for themselves, their people, and their teams. He has worked with over 150 major CEOs and their management teams, and regularly conducts workshops for executives, high-potential leaders, and HR professionals. In December 2013, Marshall was recognized again as one of the top ten Most Influential Management Thinkers in the World and the top-ranked executive coach at the bi-annual, global Thinkers50 ceremony in London. Professor Goldsmith was the winner of the 2011 Thinkers50 Leadership Award and #7 in their bi-annual global ranking of most influential living management thinkers. The World HRD Congress named him the 2011 global leader in HR thinking and he received the 2011 Tata Award for global HR excellence. The Leader to Leader Institute presented him their 2010 Leader of the Future Award. The American Management Association named him one of 50 thinkers and business leaders who have most influenced the field of management over 80 years, and BusinessWeek named him one of the most influential practitioners in the history of leadership development. He is the author or editor of 31 books including the New York Times and Wall Street Journal best sellers, What Got You Here Won¹t Get You There - a Wall Street Journal #1 business book - and Mojo: How to Get It, How to Keep It, How to Get It Back if You Lose It. His books have been translated into 28 languages and become top-ten bestsellers in eight countries.

The Institute for Competitiveness, the Indian knot in the global network of the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness at Harvard Business School and the Martin Prosperity Institute, at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management have joined hands to establish The Prosperity Institute of India. The Institute has been set up with the objective of enhancing the prosperity and creativity of Asia by sharing knowledge on 3Ts which are Technology, Tolerance, and Talent. Developed by the Martin Prosperity Institute, they are a useful analytical tool for understanding regional economic prosperity and growth by improving the traditional model emphasizing on companies, jobs, or technology. The primary activities of the Institute will be research and publications, training, advisory, and events which would further help in disseminating knowledge about creativity and prosperity among the genres.

Thinkers50 India endeavors to create, expand and enhance the process of thought leadership from India. It aims to be a platform to promote engaging interactions between the known and the unknown, between the discovered and the undiscovered and in the process contribute to the advancement of thought leadership. It also involves honoring and celebrating the best and the brightest thinkers from different domains built on the sound principles of Independence, Integrity, Trust and Accessibility.
