Egypt train collision

Egypt, at least 30 people were killed and 28 others were injured when a train ploughed into a truck and a mini-bus at a railway crossing early this morning. The incident took place near Dahchour area south of the capital Cairo in Giza.The ill-fated mini bus was carrying guests home from a wedding. 
The head of the Egyptian Railway Authority Hussein Zakaria said the vehicles had ignored warning lights and chains blocking entry, and tried to drive through the crossing. He told that the bus stormed the crossing, according to initial reports. The train, whose driver survived the crash, continued for almost one kilometer before coming to a halt.
