we are commemorating the 50th death anniversary of Ervin Baktay, famous Hungarian art historian, with a lecture by former director of HICC Dr. Géza Bethlenfalvy and Dr. Margit Köves, and an exhibition, jointly organised by the India International Centre and the Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre, on Tuesday, 7th of May 2013. 
Ervin Baktay had a major role in introducing and popularising Indian art, literature, culture and philosophy in Hungary.
