SMS- THE NEW WAY OF PROTEST AGAINST FDI IN RETAIL
SUPPORT FDI+LOOSE VOTES- CHOICE IS YOURS

Of the several number of protests and demonstrations in the Country on various issues. this one leads the way as the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) today launch a "mobile war" in opposing FDI in Retail by initiating an innovative nationwide sms campaign reading " Support FDI + Loose Votes - Choice is Yours" to condemn manipulative politics ( Jugaad Rajneeti). From today till the date of voting on FDI in Retail in Parliament, the sms campaign will continue with a new message slogan each day-said Mr. B. C. Bhartia and Mr. Praveen Khandelwal, Secretary General of the CAIT at New Delhi today.

The CAIT has also invited all such political parties who are opposing FDI in Retail to join the sms campaign by forwarding the sms to their cadre and other people. " We want to exploit each and every avenue in our movement against FDI in Retail"-said the Trade Leaders. Not only the CAIT but organisations of Farmers, Hawkers, Small Industries, Transporters and other sections of retail trade are joining hands in forwarding the sms to their respective people and organisations all over the Country.

The CAIT has sent thousands of sms today to Trade Associations and Federations all over the Country as also to economists, retail experts, scholars, media, people active in social organisations and various other people urging them to forward the sms to their respective members, individuals, Associations and other known people which in turn are expected to forward the same and thus make sms protest chain all over the Country against FDI in Retail Trade.

For the first time during their movement against FDI in Retail, the CAIT has linked the issue with votes and will continue to do so till next General Elections in 2014. The circumstances are compelling us to convert ourselves into a Vote Bank since it is a practice that Vote Bank is always heard-said Bhartia and Khandelwal.
