Sinopsis: Mahabharata , temas universales como violencia de género, guerra civil y venganza que a lo largo de la historia han mostrado el comportamiento humano. Dos culturas geográficamente distantes y artísticamente similares. Este espectáculo es una fusión de dos formas de arte que tratan sobre un tema recurrente de las sociedades asiáticas y europeas del pasado y del presente: la violencia contra las mujeres. Danza y teatro se juntan con la intención de denunciar y romper la maldición de nuestros tiempos. Un viaje al pasado a través de la fusión contemporánea del Flamenco y el Kathakali. “La Muerte de Dussasana” es una adaptación del extracto homónimo perteneciente al Mahábharata. Tradicionalmente, la autoría del Mahabharata se atribuye a Viasadeva. Él fue el abuelo de las dos grandes dinastías de la historia: Kauravas y Pandavas. Este episodio muestra la guerra civil entre las dos familias. El maltrato de una mujer para motivar la guerra y la venganza. Temas universales que con la humanidad y la literatura han marcado la historia y realidad de los seres humanos.
Biografía: Flaka nació de la colaboración entre instituciones y organizaciones de España e India para fusionar dos artes geográficamente distantes pero artísticamente cercanas. El estreno de la obra fue el 11 de noviembre de 2009 en OTRO, Festival Internacional de Teatro de Murcia, España.

Synopsis: Mahabharata, universal themes like gender violence, civil war and revenge that along History have shown us human’s behaviour. Two cultures distant geographically and artistically similar. This performance is a fusion of two art forms which tackles a recurrent issue in past and today's societies be it in Asia or in Europe: violence against women. Dance and theatre come together in an attempt to raise awareness and break a curse of our times. A trip to the past through a contemporary fusion of Flamenco and Kathakali. “The killing of Dussasana” is an adaptation of the extract with same name and that belongs to the Mahábharata. Traditionally, the authorship of the Mahabharata is attributed to Viasadeva, He was the grandfather of the two main dinasties of the story: Kauravas & Pandavas. This episode shows the civil war between both families. The mistreatment of a woman in order to motivate a war and revenge. Universal themes that along humanity and literature have marked the history and reality of human beings.
Biography: Flaka was born out of collaborating with institutions and organisations from India and Spain to make fusions of two arts distant geographically but close artistically,
The premiere of the play was on the 11th of November of 2009 at OTRO,International Theatre Festival in Murcia, Spain.
