BYOND INTRODUCES “VALUE-FOR-MONEY” TABLET PC RANGE
Bollywood Sensation Zarine Khan revealed her techie side at the launch event of Byond Tech in Delhi recently. Busy exploring the products like a kid lost in toys, she said “I guess this should be the biggest range of Tablets under one brand. The most interesting thing I have seen is the “Laplet”, I am hooked to my Laplet ever since I have started using it.”
Mr. Prashant Bora, CEO, Byond Tech. Electronics said, “We have brought to India, the biggest range of Tablets, under one Brand, with 10 versions of “MI Book” as we call it, with retail range starting from 4300/- to 11000/- all MI Books come with 3D Screens. For the product, our Research Team was most excited about was the “Laplet”, which would prove to be the biggest gift for the consumers in this Navratra Season.”
The launch was a Gala Event with Bollywood Diva “Zarine Khan” launching the entire Byond Tech Range in form of a Fashion Show and finally walking the ramp with the launch of B-50, Smart Phone, with Manish Jain, Director, Byond Tech.
According to Mr. Subhash Mutha, Chairman, Byond Tech Electronics Pvt. Ltd , “For tablets and smart phones, we have invested around 10 million USD and the investment is likely to get doubled within a year. With last 3.5 years of experience in telecom business, we are planning to be an aggressive player in Android phones and Tablet PC segment.”
