An attempt at bringing together the documentary, the documentary filmmaker and the audience to collectively create and define public cultures.
The 5th edition of Persistence Resistance will screen award winning, rarely seen films, and present a myriad ways of engaging with them.

The festival will pay homage to Lucia Rikaki, Homai Vyarawalla and Tareque Masud- image-makers of immense fortitude.

VIDEO PARLOURS and VIDEO LIBRARY

Along with screenings in auditorium, films will also be played in simulated video parlours, in a multi hub video library and as installations, encompassing linear, circulatory, on-demand and transitory ways of screening and viewing.


Dedicated video parlours will present curated selections from film archives of:

Public Diplomacy Division, Ministry of External Affairs, India
