"He has accepted our request and has decided to take lemon water and honey so that his body gets glucose," Haridwar District Magistrate R Meenakshi Sundaram told reporters after meeting Ramdev here. BJP core group tonight expressed concern at the health of Ramdev who was admitted to the ICU of a Dehra Dun hospital on the seventh day of his fast and said any untoward turn in the Yoga guru's condition will become a national issue.BJP leaders at the meeting discussed the Yoga guru's health and opined that any untowrd turn in his condition will become a national issue, party sources said. (PTI) The condition of yoga guru Ramdev, who was admitted to a hospital near here yesterday, was stable today, his close aides said.Ramdev, who was admitted to the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences last evening after his condition deteriorated on the seventh day of his fast against corruption, was administered saline and glucose.A spokesman of the hospital said a team of doctors would again monitor Ramdev's health in the morning and issue a medical bulletin later in the day."He is conscious. He spoke to his aides last night," sources said.

Ramdev was being administered intervenous fluid - glucose and normal saline - following which his condition improved, doctors said.The 46-year-old yoga exponent was admitted to the ICU immediately after he was brought to the hospital where doctors examined him.Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said government took the decision to hospitalise Baba Ramdev due to his falling health.
