UPA II turn two:Is it in crisis?

Congress headed by United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government's plan 100 days of reports cards coming to power is in state of shambles with scam and scams spill the beans in their term and inflation is still remains out of control and oil price rise with no plan to control the rise in price. The ugly scene of nexus of corporate and governance confined to administrative strategy. With the scene of daily protests from all parts of the country on questions and matters of growth has put the common man in dire hardship.Development work unable to reach to last man of the nation has given rise to movements of Mao's and Naxal with state protest for finance not adequate has put the balance growth of the nation in jeopardy.Never in the history of parliamentary democracy has lost parliamentary complete session on one pretext or the other and ugly debates that follow puts the nation in shame.

Non-political organization taking benefit of inefficiency of the administration and government is coming out with their involvement in governing the nation.Health and social security with laws for Food Security, education for all, women reservation bill and land acquisition needs look and attention of all political parties.

Central Vigilance Commissioner P. J. Thomas’s appointment to the prime post has too brought stigma to MMS government.International standards infrastructure lacking in our nation has retarded the growth with tourist and important cities lack International structures such airports, high speed train, guides and transports with minimum level of co-operation from the government puts brakes for innovation in field of employment generating business thus revenue loss to the nation.

New CM holding on to the States which are taking part in development of their industries business activities are finding their way for better growth.
UP election next year will help dissect the performance of a government whose Litmus Test for the Congress and will tell its tale of its grip on the nation's governance and policy formation.

What their opponents say about Congress led UPA II,Congress-led UPA-II the "most corrupt" government in the country's history, the BJP said the Central government has not even a single achievement to celebrate the completion of two years in power."The UPA government is going to complete two years in power but it has not even a single achievement to celebrate the occasion," BJP national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain told reporters. He alleged that scams and scandals were coming out to light under regime of the UPA-II and "it will be remembered only for the corruption cases".The BJP spokesperson alleged that the Central government was "protecting" corrupt people."The Congress-led government is neck-deep in corruption.Prices of essential commodities were increasing day by day, he said.
"The PM had assured to control price rise in 100 days of the government. But even after 720 days nothing has been done. There is a disappointment among the people against the government," the BJP leader added.

Lok Satta Party President Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan said today and hoped that Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh would summon courage and wisdom to undertake a midcourse correction.
In a media statement, Dr. JP warned that the country would face a disaster if the UPA continued its lame-duck governance for another three years.Dr. JP said that the volume of corruption witnessed at the highest level during the last two years of UPA II rule seems to be the largest in post- Second World War history. Dithering characterized UPA’s policies in the education and health care sectors. Although it adopted the Right to Education Act and promised higher investments in health care, it has totally failed in delivering on its promises. Policy failures have marked the agriculture sector. Despite excellent monsoons and record harvests, the Government has not liberalized the farm sector, rid the public distribution system of leakages or help farmers improve their incomes.

Dr. JP recalled that UPA II came into office with a stronger mandate and roused great expectations among people. It has merely succeeded in dashing their hopes.

Jill McGivering BBC News said that Attempts by the Indian government to combat poverty are not working, according to the World Bank. The governing coalition spends billions of dollars - more than 2% of its gross domestic product - on helping the poor. But a new World Bank report says aid programmes are beset by corruption, bad administration and under-payments.One report cites grain: only 40% of grain handed out for the poor reaches its intended target. India's coalition government is spending massively on programmes to reduce poverty.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-south-asia-13447867
