SIO stands by Anna Hazare for Jan Lokpal Bill

New Delhi (05.04.2011): Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) extends support and stands in solidarity with Anna Hazare, veteran social activist in his strive to table and enact the ‘Jan Lokpal Bill’.Anna Hazare who has undertaken a fast unto death at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi expressed immense pleasure and gratitude at the large gathering of youth and students to support him. People from all walks of life, except for politicians who have been barred from taking undue advantage, were spotted alongside the pandal erected for Anna.Mohd. Azharuddin, President – SIO, Secretary General – PM Salih and National Secretaries – Shaikh Shoaib & Sharique Ansar met Anna Hazare and expressed solidarity and support.
